Good Friday

This coming Thursday evening, me and my Contracts team-mates, together with our H(C) and our DH(P&C) will be going downtown East to have a team-bonding... As me not a keen bowler, i opt myself out of the game, together with my DH and 1 of our junior staff... Not a bad idea since i always "wash the logang" Haha... Can have a mini session of chit-chatting... Anyway, it's good to have such outing provided...

On Friday will be Good Friday... This year our dance ministry wont be doing a special item as we have more dance performances til end of this year... Me also keen to get back to shape so that can join with the rest when i'm fully recovered... Hopefully that will be fast...

We always celebrate Good Friday, not as celebratory mood as Easter Sunday... to celebrate Jesus's resurrection... But without what happened on Good Friday will not lead to the resurrection on the Easter Sunday... It all happens on Palm Sunday when Jesus stepped into Jeruselem, knowing what lies ahead of him.... The painful Crucifixion... I guess all of us will definitely cried when we watch "The passion of Christ"... Personally, i cant imagine the humiliation and pain that Jesus had to go through just to come and exchanged all our sins unto Him so that we can have that intimate relastionship with the Father again... It was that day that Jesus experienced what is like to be separated from God. The place which the divine exchange took place at Calvery. Guess that Jesus will always understand our situation.. When we prayed, he's alwaying interceding for us...

Anyway, heard this song during one of the worship and it's sort of touches my heart... Hope the song will encourage you too.

At the Cross

Music & Lyrics by: Hillsong

Oh Lord You've searched me
You know my ways
Even when I fail You
I know You love me

Your holy presence
Surrounding me
In every season
I know You love me
I know You love me

Chorus
At the cross I bow my knee
Where Your blood was shed for me
There's no greater love than this
You have overcome the grave
Your Glory fills the highest place
What can separate me now?

You go before me
You shield my way
Your hand upholds me
I know You love me
Chorus
At the cross I bow my knee
Where Your blood was shed for me
There's no greater love than this
You have overcome the grave
Your Glory fills the highest place
What can separate me now (x2)

You tore the veil
You made a way
When You said that it is done (x2)

And when the earth fades
falls from my eyes
You stand before me
I know You love me
I know You love me

Chorus
At the cross I bow my knee
Where Your blood was shed for me
There's no greater love than this
You have overcome the grave
Glory fills the highest place
What can separate me now (x2)

You tore the veil
You made a way
When You said that it is done (x4)

Everlasting God

Was at the 11.15am service and this song encourages me to continue to wait upon the Lord...

By: Chris Tomlin
Songwriters: Riley, Kenneth Henry; Brown, Brenton Gifford;

Strength will rise as we wait upon the Lord
We will wait upon the Lord
We will wait upon the Lord
Strength will rise as we wait upon the Lord
We will wait upon the Lord
We will wait upon the Lord

Our God, You reign forever
Our hope, our Strong Deliverer

You are the everlasting God
The everlasting God
You do not faint
You won't grow weary

Strength will rise as we wait upon the Lord
We will wait upon the Lord
We will wait upon the Lord
Strength will rise as we wait upon the Lord
We will wait upon the Lord
We will wait upon the Lord

Our God, You reign forever
Our hope, our Strong Deliverer

You are the everlasting God
The everlasting God
You do not faint
You won't grow weary

Chorus_2
You're the defender of the weak
You comfort those in need
You lift us up on wings like eagles.

Our God, You reign forever
Our hope, our Strong Deliverer

You are the everlasting God
The everlasting God
You do not faint
You won't grow weary (Chorus_2)

From everlasting to everlasting
God, You are everlasting

Forgiveness

Was listening to Sammi Cheng's song when i bumped into this website, showing Sammi's latest songs (Not really latest as the album was published last year). But anyway, shall post the lyrics here for the benefit of those who's not her hardcore fan.

Forgiveness (with 陳奐仁)

作曲:陳奐仁
填詞:陳奐仁
Singer: Sammi Cheng 郑秀文

Forgive them for they don't know what they do Lord
And give them the strength to stay true

Crying everyday, I know I'll never see the day,
When the world is caving in I wonder who'll be saved
I know that you love me and You know I love you too
Everybody's letting go but lord I found you

I stay blessed with myself
Cause it's a test when I walk out
I puff my chest at Life's endless challenges
I wanna participate and create
But there's a barricade within me
Wake up and back to sleep
Energy depletes
Now I'm feeling' dead like a eulogy
The duality
Of what's real and what's lies
I feel the vibes
Of chaos and design
I got a cup link
And I got it straight pimpin'
Rock shades at night
Cause my loneliness is blaring
The only choice I got is fear or love
Success is to be with the L.O.V.E.
GeeStyles
I dougie'd a vision
God shows me a path through intuition
It's divine decision
It's the moment I'm catching
If it's a battle for the mind
Then all day I'll be blasting

I've seen it before
I never knew the score
I'm wide awake and watching as the world explodes
Forgive them for they don't know what they do, Lord
And give me the strength to stay true

Day to day I prayed
Hoping today is a better day
So many wasted, knocked down, and easily swayed
Living a life of this self hate, how do we begin
To sin, no win, and no openin.
Kids getting abused by pills... what a waste
They take not knowing their life will soon break
Life is too short for that kinna game
it's not worth it, it's so lame and I proclaim that it's no one to blame.

I've lived the life I've loved to live
Taking back all my life I serve to give
Soldier on all the hate I can't feel the bliss
Loving from the inside I can't feel the kiss
One life that's all there is
Real life, is where hell begins
Man killing man! Is the main cause of it
Fight for your right is all of this

Save me lord
I never meant to be this way
I'd given up on everything and all I had was pain
Oh why, why do we play these games
I’ve given up my everything to be with you

I've seen it before
I never knew the score
I'm wide awake and watching as the world explodes
Forgive them for they don't know what they do, Lord
And give me the strength to stay true

Forgive them for they don't know what they do, Lord
I'm wide awake and watching as the world explodes
Forgive them for they don't know what they do, Lord
And give me the strength to stay true

Being Human (Jack Neo's latest movie)

Watched movie with my sis, mao and her "bf" on Tuesday night... after running errands at home. It was a nerve-wrenching experience... after all the cock-ups by the suppliers!!!

The movie titled " Being human - 做人" Overall, i find the movies quite entertaining which the director trying to also teach the "moral of the story" behind this movie... Most of the actors / actressess are from the J team productions... though have seen them over and over again in Jack's movie productins but it's okay... Especially the NG part was a bit humorous though... I gave a thumbs-up for the movie - rating 4.5 out of 5.

Jack started the movie by casting 1 sales mgr & his bro-in-law (acted Mark Lee and Jeremy Chan)... He was fired from the company due to differences in their marketing strategy... He wanted to take revenge against his ex-company... hence all the pattern out come (i mean his scheming ways)... Not my way, or the only way or no other way!!!

Shall continue another day!!!

Bollywoods Veggies Farm trip (26 Feb 2010)

For once our company has generously sponsored us for team-bonding trip to 2 locations (Batam / Bollywoods Veggies Farm trip)... While majority of my colleagues chose to go to Batam, some of us (around 15 people) chose for the Bollywoods Veggies Farm trip.... At first, some questioned why i chose to go to the veggie trip than Batam... afterall, a trip to Batam will definitely worth every single penny than a local exclusion trip to a veggie farm...

After trips after trips, some of they commented that the Batam trip will take up more than 8 hours as they have to reach the jetty by 7am and probably reached sgp around 8plus... So compared with our veggie farm, ours more relax and more time for proper team-bonding. Not so rushed... Coz the organiser has inlcuded team-bonding / ice-breaker games to help us compete against each other teams in a friendly way.... Maybe Batam trip is probably more for retreat and getaway from work... Ours too but... as most of us headed back to office after our farm visit with some exceptional pp like myself, SC, J & GT proceed to our next visitation.... goat farm... though i just went to buy a carton of goat milk... thanks to SC's transportation... =P

I reached the place around 9.30am... but omg... 1 staff from SAP was even earlier than me coz she caught the earlier 9am shuttle bus... Guess i was fortunate as i got a hitch from a employee who's also late for work.. So both of us took a cab in... The taxi-driver almost lost his way there... Omg, it's like almost a maze inside...

Ivy-Singh which is the owner of the farm came out to welcome us and make us really feel at home at the farm... Thanks to our dear colek who helped to organised this event and our bosses who initiated the outing, if not these outing wont be possible.

Oh before i side-tracked again... SHe gave a really long and funny speeches... during breaks, she will drop by and gave us even more funny stories... 1 story which is very deeply-emblemed was the one she wore a "navy blue hat" with a very small tissue paper and shared her story with it... Shall not shared here... Haha... But those who are interested can ask pm. =P

Our dutch tour guide brought us around the farm and showed us interesting veggies they grown in the farm, ranging from bananas to fragrance plants such as the lemongrass leaves which suppose can ward off any smell in yr household items... very organic yet friendly to our bodies. They even have this "praying bananas" where 2 rows of bananas sticked together from head to tail (really looks like a pair of hands clasping very tightly - which looks like prayer hands)

We were spilt into few small groups for some ice-breaker games... and finally ended with "building the strongest strawman"... Eventually PC's teams won... never expected JW's team toppled after few pushes by the tour guide... Haha... Now we understand why big size doesnt equates to stability... Maybe the upper body super unstable - Too big and heavy. Haha... Too end tat, we all brought home a "DIY" pot plants (pandan, aloe vera)

After the whole farm visit ends at around 3plus, majority of the staffs headed back office while 4 of us went to the next farm visit - goat farm as i'm quite despo for the goat milk... Thanks to SC's, all of us managed to get to the goat farm without any difficulty...

Had a fun day... bonding with some of the coleks whom i seldom talked to... let alone sit down and have meals together.
