Restlessness!!!

It feel kinda weird not working... but i'm sort of getting used to it... and learning to wake up very early in the morning... dun have the luxury of waking up on the dot to go work every morning!!

Was planning to go movie later... since it's been a while since i last watch movie... hehe!!

Weather varies a lot nowadays... can be quite cold in the morning and very humid in the afternoon... making my body very crazy and upside down!

K, guess better do some actions before the day is over. =)

Last Day with my XXX company.

Finally... my last day... and i'm more looking to my 1 week break before heading to Guangzhou for a short vacation with my church friends.

Though it's quite hard for me to let go, esp the last few days... i would say that i have to out-pour to God my feelings... well, i think i have gonna out of my comfort zone. =)

Today as i went around to take time to chit-chat with colleagues, for some maybe the last time since i'm not very close with them. like hi and bye... i mean acquaintances... though i will miss those who are more closer to my heart esp my "BKT bunnies"... haha... and coleks' sitting at my partition. well, hopefully can catch up outside work... =)

Today attend my last in-house talk... Talk to my ED and he gave some kind advice... and a surprise email!!! I have let go and let God... but i'm still thankful and grateful for what He has done!

Workstation.

Guess i will miss my desk or my workstation... i think for those who's are very used to "closed" concept office will find my seat very glaring since those who sat behind onwards will always have to bypass my seat in order to get out. Esp your D who sits behind will always peeps in to see what's on yr screen!
Okay. i will need to re-adjust to "not so open" workstation in my new office. Guess i'm very used to the open concept office... at least when i'm bored, i will just turn my back behind me to talk to my colek. =)

Congraluations to Singapore Table Tennis team.

Wow, i think all of us must have glued our eyes to the TV screen... i myself got hooked to the TV yesterday watching our gals table tennis played against the China team... Well done. Finally, a silver Olympics medal after years of medal drought. Well, guess we have a promising team from players Feng TW, Li JW, Wang YG etc... Do hope our FT recruitment will continue, bringing more young and promising players esp Feng TW.. who dares to take on head-head with players much stronger than her and overcome. but hopefully our homegrown players will dare to rise up and take up the challenge to play professionally given that our FT does helps in certain way and results have speak for itself... maybe create a professional TT league?

But anyway, it was rather a huge mountain for our team team to climb after seeing the difference in their style of playing during the last night Final... but they can make up by playing more often. maybe a more oversea exposure will be helpful?

On a brighter note, we still have the next London Olympics 2012 and many more medals to look forward to. =)

Beijing Olympic 2008. Happy National Day!

Happy Birthday, Singapore!!!

Yesterday cell got cancelled as most of the people wanna stay at home to watch the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympic 2008 at the 'Bird Nest"... So was able to go home early... actually was planning to have a last minute shopping since i guess most of the shopping mall will be offering huge discounts up to 43 percent off. and i got a huge bargain from O2 shop while shopping for beauty products at Central with Sis during lunch break. But anyway, it was quite a enjoyable and good opportunity to be able to have lunch with sis...

Oh ya, i managed to catch the opening and i would say.... Oh gosh, i just dunno how to express... okay, never mind... guess you have to catch it yourselves in order to understand... haha.. 1 sentence...
So "cina but impressive".... esp the last part where the light up of the olympic flame was quite special in a way... anyway, it's good to be able to catch our home team in the opening ceremony... and ours were almost to the last 20plus teams so i guess it's good... at least the athletics wont have to wait until their necks grow super long... for the whole ceremony to open.

i got the chance to watch the handball between Fra and Ang just now and it was a quite a tight fight and Ang was leading by 1 goal until the second half, they then self-destruct and gave away 10 goals... though they came fighting almost the final minutes, they were too late... lagging behind by 10 over goals. Actually i think Fra will never overcome the Ang as they were relatively defensive and rely more to counter-attacks... and the Ang were the more aggressive team... By the first half, Fra will trailing by 1 goal... But thanks to some brilliant saves from the Fra goalkeeper, the Fra players got their nerves and got their procession and attack at the opponent's goals... some will easy goals while some spectacular. (guess sometimes we do see the champions falter)

Was writing this blog and at the same time watching the female soccer game between China and Canada.... Will it be a another surprise victory by C?

Oops, guess for this time Olympics, i will be able to catch more of the games as it was held in Beijing and there's no time time lag so dun need to wake up at some unearthly hours just to catch the games... but... i dun have Starhub so end up some of the important games i will have to give it a miss lor. Talk of the Olympic fever!! Haha...
