Casual or purposeful Christian?

Today i attended T.C.C. with my friend cum my financial adviser after our meeting today, as we need to review my current financial health.....haha... her job mah... anyway, it's quite a "debateable" day as we have more things to talk... share and discuss on certain issues which quite bothered me... anyway, she's still that understanding to take all that kind of nonsenses from me... haha....

Anyway, after we get our stuffs done, then she has to rush to for her service at 5pm just now... anyway, to cut the long story short... i ask her whether i can join her to her church or not... since my parents wont be home so early today... so she said... ya, sure.... why not? =)

Today, pulpit msg was on refering to Professing Christians who does not treat their beliefs lightly and allow the circumstances in their lives to push them the flow rather than replying on the power of the Holy Spirit. They do not take their prayer lives seriously, but take it as a chance... so in conclusion, we must live our lives by grounding on the Word of God and by the power of the Holy Spirit. No short-cut to having our enpowered christian life with doing nothing. Pick up your bible and allow the Holy Spirit to work thru you mightly... if u have not done so....

For me, it's the right call.. i too allow my christian walk to walk by chance... what has happened to that exciting and purposeful walk with God of the past. Today, i have commited myself to spending quality time with God every day and live up my prayer life and allow God to pour out His Spirit to work thru me...

Guess what, thru the sermon, i realised that i have mis-placed my watch somewhere... as i stared into space, the speaker was saying praying with belief God will do something abt it rather waiting for chance to happen (whatever outcome it maybe)... then i ask the Lord for the watch, and truly believe God will bring back that watch... not a exp watch, but it has a lot of sentiments with it... After the service ended, then God put it into my thought that i may have dropped it in my fren's car... And when she opens her car, Oops... i saw that watch lying by the side of the car.... PTL... God is good... even though my situation remains unchange... And God is always with us all the time, and i want to tell u guys out there that i will strive to know God in much deeper way that i have never experience. Thank U God for revealing so much of Yourself through the church service today and His amazing powerful work of the Holy Spirit. =D

I shall self-invite to her church Service next Sat... haha... =D
