Outing for the 3 gals
For quite a while, the 3 of us never have a chance to meet up for a outing as we were busy with either our work, family, church/other commitments... if i'm remember correctly, our last outing will be the outing to Sentosa when we also took leave the day after Chinese New Year... I feel and concurred with ML that as we grow older, we tends to take a step back from our busy life and have more of such gatherings... after all, life wasnt about our career advancement or work work no social life!! Plus one point from me, i feel that as i grow older, i take relationships (family, friends etc) much serious than when i was in my teens or earlier 20s... Oops, not that i'm very old... but just something that i have more emphasis than other "so called things which i deemed to be in impt in the past".
Okay, back to my main topic today...
2 days ago, we all took leave at the same time... Went for a lunchtime KBox session, we had a off-form session (perhaps we also not in the mood bah) but we were very busy taking pictures of ourselves in silly poses... haha... After our session, our initial plan was to watch movie, either "Harry Potter and the the half-blood prince" or "Ice Age 3". But unfortunately, all the good seats have been snapped up and end up we went window-shopping in the Orchard area, u name it..... Taka, Wisma, and the upcoming Ion, Orchard Central etc...
Our first stop was at Ion... only a few shops at Ion had started their operations, which Louis Vuitton is one of them... The new boutique is quite different from the boutique from the other outlet... At least the standard has upped, at least the staff wore gloves to handle the bags... at least feel like going to a HC boutique. Heard from my sis that in other countries, many high-end boutiques had already started such practises but not so in Sgp so in any case, we are also improving on our standards. Oh, 1 of the tote bag which caught my eyes was the Damier series "Totally MM". But as usual, i will be probably take ages to decide, and by the time, more new series may appear in the market and most probably i will give the bag a miss. Nice to have but not a must... =) To be continued.. hehe...
We headed down to Takashimaya and Wisma Atria to shop... which i was eyeing on buying for my hand moisturiser... End up, i decided to get a healthier type of hand moisturiser from L'Occitane outlet at Ngee Ann City... The smell is so heavenly that i must buy... Actually was also contemplating other brands like Kiehls, Crabtree and Evelyn, Body Shop, etc. So 3 of the idle woman spend our time, doing window-shopping and we end up at Far East Shopping Centre where we had our early dinner/high tea in 1 of the small shop hidden well in the basement... Out of nowhere, mao's boi joined us after his biz... so we had our dinner together, followed by another dinner at the Xin Wang HK cafe...
Hmmm, for some reasons, as all of us were eyeing to buy the Iphone 3Gs, we decided to head to the nearest red co. outlet and we got glued to the phone... For me who haven really had a touch-screen phone before, the feeling of having 1 excites me.. =P
Yesterday late morning, my sis's hubby returned from his Biz trip but due to some reasons, his flight have to change, so he could only reach Sgp in the late afternoon... My sis and me spent our time, playing pool in our clubhouse and having our lunch cum high-tea in the Xin Wang HK cafe, chit-chatting and catching up in the cozy cafe... Hopefully, my sis will recover fully by today... =)
Had wanted to go back office yest to pick up some of the work home to catch up but we enjoyed ourselves too much that i totally forgotten about it and i'm too lazy to go back today... hehe... Shall delay til tmr before i start on it... Hopefully, not too late. =) What a sunday to spend... But going to do some spring-cleaning to my room, especially... before it gets too messy.
