Gals outing.
Today, me and my sis took a day leave from our hectic work schedule to go for a morning facial at LD. We met earlier to have a early breakfast at Vivocity and shop around before our facial appointment. While taking out purse out of my bag to pay for the breakfast, my bag stucked... i mean the zip... maybe it's time to buy a new bag... So we make a point to have a look at bags after our facial appt. haha... What a day to start! A bag with a spoilt zip!!!
My sis, as usual opt for their usual hydrating treatment while i tried LD's newest treatment - OxyDerm treatment. This time round, the treatment took slightly longer as it also include the facial massage as well.... The facial massage this time was much milder than the previous time when we had a workshop at our work place... It was kind of soothing, especially the ear massage and the neck massage by the therapist. The pressing and pulling kind was so soothing that i literally fell asleep during the last part of the treatment. To think that i can enjoyed such a simple massage? Oh ya, before i forgets... During the workshop, i was being asked to be the "model" during the demontration which i agreed... anyway, it's foc so give it a try (No harm trying). The whole session was quite good, as the trainer do explain the "how"s, "do"s and "don't"s during the cleansing of the face and a responsive QnA session. The facial was quite enjoying except during the massaging of the ears, the trainer explained and answered questions while doing the facial massage and she's quite excited that she massaged the ears abit too hard that i could feel the heat from the massage even after the demonstration is over. But despite that, i enjoyed having my face being massaged... The massage does help relieve stress.
Oh, back to our today's programme...
After which, we walked aimlessly in the shopping malls in Orchard Road (from PS to CK Tangs), doing our early shopping for our early Christmas gifts... We saw quite a number of good and interesting deals such as Thanns products, air purifier, fondue holder, bamboo towels etc at the Tangs outlet at Vivocity / Orchard branch. Sis also gave a couple of nice suggestions... Shall carefully think through.. =) Guess every year, shopping for gifts doesn't sounds so exciting as before... Perhaps, it's due to my lack of sleep last week... so i didn't have much concentration to look at stuffs in details... But still i managed to eye out few potential gifts (hyflux water container, towels, cute ball-point pen etc). Thought of buying something for myself but end up, i decided not to buy anything as i think it's not a need but rather my desire to want to own...
As sis still having her bout of coughs and lethargic from her illness, we decided to depart for home... for my sis to rest and for me to rest too...
Really appreciate the time to rest from our labour.. to spend time with family members esp sis since we hardy got to see each other often nowadays. This is specially nice as can foresee that will be days of busyness once my tender close this coming monday... Plentiful of work needed to be done and expected late workings too... Shall enjoy myself while i can... =)
