A Time to Reflect with Thanksgiving.

Just came back home at 9plus after a long day out today...

Starting of year 2007 and my company had a professional seminar for us (all technical staffs and other consultants like Architects, Developer's people etc... on the recent ban of 1 of the raw materials importing to Spore and the legal implications and potential "claims" from MC of such ban. Perhap such a ban may seems like a small case to a layperson, to us as a professional... how can we be in a position to advise out client the possible solutions and preventative measures like do we discharge our duties in a professional way etc... Though the legal matters can be super drying but the cases in the past can be used as a guide for consideration for future court cases... [oops, i forgot the legal terms to describe- though i do study quite a handful of law modules in SP- everything return back to the lecturer]

In fact, we do have to be aware of the legal proceedings as some of our projects may end up in court... so such seminars helps a bit to improve on our understanding on legal matter... recently, our firm open up a legal dept and believe it will greatly helped us who may not be as well-versed in law matters as a trained lawyers...

After my company seminar, i have to rush back to church for our additional dance practise... but thank goodness, seminar ends early so i managed to reach church by 1.15pm... Certainly our dance moves improve a lot after reminders from one another esp Charlotte.T and PY who reminds us the steps over and over again... Esp Charlotte being the "last" person, points out our individual mistakes and hence we improved as a whole. personally, i felt that today all of us was quite encouraged today, hopefully God will continue to spur us on to continue dance for our Lord with every parts of our body... After dance practise ends quite late after we managed to get a room at the F.hall... continue dancing and we were quite thankful to have one of the "Silver Boxes" to bless us with plate of noodles... yummy... i asked for extra plates as it was really delicious... Honestly speaking, i have entertained thoughts of giving up the easter dance as i just couldnt remember the steps and my mind was kept blanking every time i dance. Hence i kept making mistakes over and over again... to me, it's like i'm dragging down everyone if i continue like that. Just being reminded during the practise just now that if my heart is right before God when i dance, with that perspective been make clear... i managed to finish the dance without any hitches... =P

Went to Bugis Junction with Charlotte.T to find the cardigan... and guess what we managed to find it...3 last pcs... (and C.T and C.I almost combed the whole of Singapore This Fashion]... so i dun nid to search everywhere now... we went Bugis Street, Village to continue our shopping.
Just managed to write in some thoughts in my mind and get it out!!!

Yesterday night, spent my time at home watching the semi-final match of "The Arena" between the Raffles Institution and UWC (United World College)... actually, i was not a keen participant in watching any form of debating... but after watching a unknown school Luoyang Sec going to quarter-final before losing to Raffles Institution caught my eyes... Was quite interesting topic... impressing leh and quite a one-sided affair and the final result with the stronger team managed to breeze through...

Interesting leh!!! Final: Hwa Chung Institution between United World College (UWC)... Shall support the United World College(UWC) given their superior verbal abilities, smart counter-attacks and... shall not say too much here.... *_*"

Today had my last director cum lunch's meeting with my current company... we ordered in Subway for lunch.. and i ordered Tuna sandwish with white choc. for snack.

Not as stressful today as compare to the past 8 such meetings as i'm handing over the work at my hands... hmmm, would missed such meetings... eh, foc lunch, longer lunch breaks, except the stress from reporting projects. hehe...

Well, for a change.... i guess.... =)

Oh, this's my ever time in my whole life to experience the tremers from nearby earthquake from our nearby neighbour this morning, just ard few minutes before 12pm, our whole office was shaking a bit... At first, i tot was moving as i was leaning on my desk doing my work and feel the table moving... but few seconds later, my coleks also mentioned that they also felt the shaking too... hmmm, then i noticed that the water in my big water dispensor was also moving... eh... it's like sitting inside a ship and feel the shipping moving left and right up and down "feeling".. =P 2nd time after lunch at abt 1.50pm... the tremers got even worse, i could see shelves "full of boxes and files" at my desk was shaking and moving forth violently... so scary... cannot imagine if the files and the boxes fell at me??? i will be buried alive!!!

One of my team-mate mentioned that it's their 's retribution for not supplying one of their raw materials to us... but anyway... it always happened all the time!!! this time this thing, tmr maybe another thing....

This week after much struggle, i finally did something... ??? Know that it's something rash but not as much as i sought after the Lord in prayer... Maybe i should have waited much longer before i act... at least got God's directions 1st... after i did that dreadful thing, i was a bit regret... after i have been with this firm for 2 years plus... i got friends here... i like my work... just that my boss (AD), not referring to my direct supervisor... but Anyway, i'm not in my right frame of mind to write in details now. But what irks me is that sickening reaction from his "cunning covered up with full of innocent" face after i tender my resignation... If i'm playing a virtual game, i would certainly shoot off his head!!! Can u imagine my colek's reaction when i shared with them that AD.... they were so pissed off that they will certainly gif him few tight slaps and punches... haha... followed by the 7 letters and 3 letters %$#&@... (Got what i mean?) =P but i'm quite thankful that our ED actually go to the extent to ask me join his team instead of quitting together... but... i dun see the point of staying... if "he" wanna tekan me, which team i go, he will use "his ways and means" to do so... I saw it happened to 1 of my ex-teammate...

This week, everyday got super urgent tasks to do... with 1 day given to complete the work which is so impossible task... expects me to skip lunch and work till midnight??? i'm super tired already... not tired of my work, but having to reply to unnecessary "cc" emails and "daggers anyhow throw at me" and all missed... Aim also cannot aim properly!!! (like Jack Neo latest movie: Just follow Law). CC= Cover CarCher, BCC= Beta Cover Carcher... Waste my productive time writing emails having to "protect" myself, guess what my boss(AD) will do, he will keep every single records and everytime, he will use all this "records" to threaten or back him up... Thank goodness, this has never happened to me... It happened to one of my ex-team-mates (and all of the team-people witnessed) and use this method to force him to write an apologise letter and leave the firm.

Okay, 3 more weeks and i'll leave this place... hopefully with no regrets... but surely i will miss my friends... and my work too... NOT my AD for goodness sake!!!
