A Time to Reflect with Thanksgiving.

Today went back to work, to finish up work by Monday...

But happens that mao finished her audition earlier than expected and she jio me and my sis out for lunch and high tea... so end up, i have to bring home work to rush before the dateline on Monday...

This whole week, as my bil is out for his biz trip, my sis came back to bunk with us and it's a real opportunity to catch up with sis as we didnt have much time at home nor meal together since i left my previous company... so everytime, if we have such opportunity... will normally appreciate such outings... Oh yes, me, my sis and mao (our long time kaki) went out for a gal's outing... We went to Marina Square GV to watch the Final Destination 4 3D at about 9pm. Prior to that, we went to have our eyebrow trimmed and had a light dinner at Ya Kun's at Raffles City... Dun wanna have a merlion session during the movie...

Oh yes, the movie was pretty gross... Shall not mentioned here in case some of you may be interested in watching the movie... I will definitely give the green light to watch the 3D version... though not as much compariable with the 3D i watched years ago at the HK Disneyland. But overall, still okay lah... Mai yiam bui pai lah.

After which, we decided to walked down to boat quay and clarke quay.... end up at the Hooters and ate a light supper before walking down to Gallery hotel and then share a cab home... What a outing... =)

Phew, for the first time this year, i pick up jogging again... Have not been exercising my bum for quite sometime... Phew, completing the 2.4km seems like a tall order to me cause why? After barely covered 400m, my thigh starts to ache and i'm out of breathe... So end up i walk and jog and do catching up with my colleagues... =P But luckily, they waited for me cause all of them are seasoned runners and me, so long never run have to do the extra effort to catch up with them.

Today also my first time joining my company's monthly affair walk and jog session... A good workout though... Feeling much refreshed and relax... I guess i love jogging except when i have no kakis to motivate to continue jogging... haha...

Actually, i almost cannot make it to the jog session as i'm holding on to a very important doc which i'm desperately trying to send it out... but due to me being so limited... haha... Never mind, so end up i have to send it out tomorrow... Thanks to my PM who graciously guide us to the jogging place as this is our first time going to the place... and my team-mate for sending me home after the session. =P Quite a adventurous outing today, cause we almost had a accident along the way!

Thank God we make it there safely... Til the next walk and jog session. hopefully i can have a better timing... hehe...

Here wish Singapore a Happy Birthday!

This year will be our country's 44th birthday.... I think it's a privilege to be able to be involved in such a celebration, esp when all the people in Singapore, no matter Singaporean or even non-Singaporean will be watching both live from the Marina Bay or from the TV or even from the net.... We had rehearsals over a couple of months before the actual NDP and of course weekends is burnt as we have to report to the National Stadium early in the morning by 8am for rehearsals and usually rehearsals will finish by 9plus. Our school was having a combined Band display. Still remember my first NDP participation back then NDP 97... Times flies and i'm now watching the NDP 'Live" from the comforts at home. haha...

As a small nation, we are proud to say that though we have come so far and we have been rather blessed. Being small with no natural resources, we have our own people who will do their best. Hence we can look forward to a better future. Praying thar God will continue to bless Singapore and raise up the next generation of God's fearing leaders so that we, as a nation will always be blessed. Though today, i wont be joining my cell people for the fireworks as wanted to spend time with my family. =) Finally, i can have a little break from work on Monday as it has been gazetted as a public hoilday.

Had a fruitful time today at home... Do some spring-cleaning of my room... Too much stuffs to be thrown away but today i have cleared them... at least my room looks much neater now. The next thing to do will be doing research for buying a good quality mattress, my old mattress has totally bypass it's userability. That's explains why i'm having body and neck aches now... =/

Tomorrow afternoon, going to watch Sis S's dance performance at the Singapore Conference hall... so proud of her... Pray that tomorrow's dance will go on smoothly... and amist the whole dance, God be glorified. Yeah, tomorrow also will going to fetch my sister and her hubby from her vacation trip... So much things to do tmr!!!

Was super lagi tired... Actually woke up at about 8am in the morning but then after taking my breakfast, felt that my eyes could no longer hold it open... In the end, i dumped myself into bed and end up waking at 12plus... Finally broken my years of record of waking up in the afternoon during weekends. haha...

Oh no, still have body aches after resting... Maybe it's time to dump away my old pillow and mattress which i have been using for a past few years or decade?? But anyway, shall throw in some $$ to go for a massage for now and still looking for cheap cheap and gud gud massage. =) any gud recommendation?

Have to go and continue to rest... body aches really bad...
